Dr. Kavitha Vegunta, the founder of Precision Dental Care, established the practice 12 years ago, starting from scratch to build a well-known and respected dental clinic in the area. With a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Melbourne University and nearly 15 years of experience in both private and public settings, she has dedicated her career to providing comprehensive dental care. Dr. Vegunta’ s mission is to offer a stress-free, relaxed environment where patients can receive education and procedures aimed at improving the long-term stability of their dentition, ultimately supporting their overall health. Her personal philosophy revolves around achieving happiness through helping others, and she treats every patient as if they were her own family, which drives her commitment to delivering exceptional care. She is renowned for her pain-free approach to dentistry and has a deep passion for cosmetic dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation, specializing in dental crowns and implants. Her expertise extends to porcelain veneers, digital dentistry, and implant planning and restoration. Dr. Vegunta also has a keen interest in the emerging fields of sleep dentistry and craniofacial pain management, having pursued multiple courses in Australia and internationally to advance her knowledge. Dr. Natasha Pajnigara earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2012 and her Master’s in Periodontics in 2016 from Maharashtra, India. After practicing in India, she moved to Canberra in 2018 and quickly fell in love with the city and its people. Dr. Pajnigara enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including fillings, deep cleans, root canal treatments, and crowns. She has a special interest in treating gum problems and is committed to understanding each patient’s unique needs to provide the best possible treatment. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Pajnigara loves playing badminton and spending time with friends. She looks forward to meeting you and taking care of your oral health.

Dr. Deborah Elijah graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2011 and has since been committed to providing exceptional dental care in Canberra and Queanbeyan. The opportunity to return to the community where she was born and educated is embraced with great satisfaction. Patient needs and concerns are the primary focus of her practice. Treatment options are presented, and comprehensive information is provided to ensure that the best choices are made for each individual’s situation. A wide range of general dentistry aspects are enjoyed by Dr. Elijah. In addition to her private practice, she contributes to the Queanbeyan Oral Health Service, where diverse cases, including those with complex medical histories, are managed. This role also facilitates involvement in community projects and a broader understanding of public oral health. Expertise in managing anxious patients is applied both in private and public settings. As a committee member of the local study group, connections with other dental professionals in the Canberra region are maintained, and the latest advancements in dentistry are kept up-to-date with. Dr. Kamini Tiwari, known as Kam, became a dentist out of her passion for both helping people and the artistry of the profession. She has been a valued member of Precision Dental Care since 2017, where she enjoys collaborating with colleagues and building strong relationships with patients. Kam graduated from RGUHS KLE in 2006 and earned a graduate certificate from the Royal Dental Hospital in Melbourne in 2009, with additional training in complex extractions from Sydney Dental Hospital. Her expertise covers preventative care, veneers, complex fillings, crowns (including implant crowns), and surgical tooth removal, with a special focus on treating children. Kam is known for her thorough, patient-centred approach, ensuring that patients are well-informed and comfortable with their treatment choices. Her meticulous care has earned her a reputation as a "perfectionist," and she is committed to achieving the best outcomes using advanced dental techniques. Her empathetic nature helps even the most anxious patients feel at ease. Kam also works part-time at Queanbeyan Hospital’s community health clinic and has provided dental care to underprivileged communities through charity work with Rotary Hospital in India. Faramarz Khorami, known as Faz, earned his Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy/Hygiene from Charles Sturt University in 2015 and completed his adult restorative course/advanced scope for oral health therapist in 2021. As a qualified Oral Health Therapist and hygienist, Faz is skilled in diagnosing and treating gum disease, performing comprehensive check-ups, and practicing restorative dentistry for patients of all ages. Faz is dedicated to treating his patients with the utmost respect and care. He believes in patient autonomy and empowering individuals to make positive changes that enhance their oral and general health. His passion for oral health promotion is evident from his work with mobile dental trucks and his educational presentations at local schools and preschools. With a natural affinity for treating children, Faz is particularly praised for his ability to manage anxious young patients. He collaborates closely with parents to make dental visits enjoyable and build lasting trust with his younger patients. Committed to continuous learning, Faz regularly attends professional development courses to expand his knowledge in dentistry and general health. Sana Shaikh has been serving as the Practice Manager at Precision Dental Care since 2020, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to her role. With a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy and a Master’s in Public Health from Western Sydney University, Sana recently completed her Diploma in Practice Management, further enhancing her expertise in overseeing clinic operations. Joining Precision Dental Care in 2019, Sana has played a pivotal role in elevating patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for both patients and staff. Her responsibilities span both clinical and front-office functions, where her personal touch and attention to detail contribute significantly to the clinic’s smooth operation. Sana's vibrant personality and adeptness at creating a welcoming atmosphere make her an effective team leader, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Outside of her professional commitments, Sana enjoys exploring museums, parks, and hiking trails, as well as indulging in good books and savouring a cup of coffee. After a busy workday, she finds relaxation in weightlifting at the gym or unwinding with the latest Nature Documentaries.
